How to encourage mindfulness- it is simple and benefits the whole family!
Mindfulness helps us...
- It starts with taking deep breaths and being aware of ourselves, being in the moment.
- Sometimes using videos or guided meditations (examples below) can help kids get started.
- Mindfulness gets easier and easier to practice throughout our day. The more we practice, these tools will come naturally to help us all be resilient when we have hard times.
- When parents practice mindfulness and model using these tools, it helps kids learn how to do this too.
